Connectivity RF HW Design Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
Simulate RF HW design using a 3D EM simulation tool for product integration.
Measure the RF HW performance and correlate it with the 3D simulation results..
Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure that specifications are met at the component, board, and system levels.
Understanding of the HW design process and pushing PDP from early prototype, tuning, validation, and certification
Connectivity RF HW design with expertise in one or more of the following areas: GPS, NFC, WiFi, BT
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of experience with RF HW Design for wireless consumer electronics or similar industry such as infotainment.
Experience in 3D EM simulation for product level (preferred experience in Ansys-HFSS)
Experience RF concepts such as impedance matching and Smith Charts
Experience using RF simulation tools such as Keysight ADS, Momentum
Experience in RF measurement using Network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, Power meter, Communication equipments(CMW500, CWM100, Litepoint, CMP180) and so on
Experience in debugging RF issues
Minimum BSEE with 5+ years experience. MS or Phd degree is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
Experience with Siemens NX
Experience in Cadence Virtuoso and EMX
Experience with PCB layout and schematic capture for RF circuits
Experience with LTE, WLAN, BT, GPS circuits, modules, and test specification
Experience designing radios for consumer electronic devices
