Data Architect - Food and Beverages - $120,000 - $170,000

Overview:

My client, a global leader within the Food and Beverages space are currently recruiting for a number of Data Architects to join their Data Foundation team. You will be responsible for driving the architectural designs and patterns for the firms data environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and implement Azure services for efficient data movement and storage within Data Lakes, Databricks & Data Factories

Implement and maintain data governance policies and data quality rules to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of data

Implement data integration processes, including data mapping and transformation, to ensure that data from different sources can be integrated and used by different applications within the organisation

Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.

Drive data quality across the organization; develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models and tracking

Skills & Experience:

Strong experience in architecture design using Microsoft Azure Data Services such as Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory & Azure Databricks

Knowledge of data architecture and design patterns and the ability to apply them

Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new business domains and technologies

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conceptualize and articulate ideas clearly and concisely

Package:

$120,000 - $170,000

Ideally located in Texas, will consider fully remote
