This is a newly created position in the retail industry that will lead, support, and optimize operating processes in executing the retail growth strategy. Your focus will be on continuous improvement of 3PL operational practices, SOPs, and systems. You will work with a broad range of cross-functional partners to advocate on behalf of retail stores and the customers and support the overall hypergrowth plans of the company.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement internal and external processes to improve operational efficiency
Develop, maintain, and communicate new/existing SOPs to standardize fulfillment, replenishment, and logistical operations between the 3PL and the stores
Construct and manage calendar with critical milestone dates both internally and with our 3PL
Execute an aggressive store launch plan domestically and internationally
Optimize shipping costs and lead times from DC to store, including reverse logistics
Develop performance metrics to measure 3PL performance
Review, triage, and problem solve Retail and 3PL related issues that are blockers to our rollout plan and steady state operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years’ retail operations experience
Store launch experience with a growing company
Experience in collaborating with 3PL providers
Project management, negotiation, change management and conflict resolution skills
Experience with retail store hyper-growth while collaborating with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
High proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
