Scientist II, Microbiology

RBW Consulting are excited to present an opportunity for Scientist II, Microbiology with a CDMO partner of ours!

With over 20 years experience in the industry, they are passionate about supporting companies from Development to Commercial launch of their Sterile products, with a particular focus on Injectables.

Dedicated to quality and growth, our partner continually seeks to improve, over the past 5 years they have invested over $100M into their facilities to improve capabilities and expand capacity. Allowing you to work on large-scale projects and expand your own experience in a complex area.

Responsibilities:

Adheres to Current GMP Standards: Ensures compliance with safety and controlled substance handling policies.

Lab Maintenance and Analysis: Participates in equipment repair, lab housekeeping, and performs microbiological analysis on received test samples (raw materials, bulk, final product, stability, water) following USP, in-house, or customer methods.

Quality Control and Documentation: Conducts environmental monitoring, quality control testing, and maintains inventory. Documents deviations and out-of-specification results.

Special Projects and SOP Revisions: Undertakes special projects, data tracking, and report generation. Revises SOPs, forms, and protocols.

Communication and Compliance: Maintains communication within the department, reviews logbooks for documentation compliance, and supports company goals.

Collaboration and Flexibility: Interacts with Operations staff, creates purchase orders, and demonstrates schedule flexibility.
