Vice President Operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in solar and storage asset operations and management, including land management and 3rd party O&M management.

Prior experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) operations is required.

Experience managing utility-scale projects in California and other RTOs is preferred.

Experience in operating merchant energy projects is advantageous.

Proficiency in Day Ahead scheduling is required.

Prior experience or knowledge of CAISO and WECC region operations is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Lead, train, and manage personnel within the renewable energy operations team, including but not limited to Operations Manager, Coordinator, and Administrative Assistant.

Foster positive relationships with corporate support departments.

Establish objectives, assess performance, and conduct interim and annual performance evaluations of direct reports.

Fulfill supervisory duties in adherence to organizational policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities encompass recruitment, training, task allocation, performance evaluation, recognition, mentoring, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
