Title : Machinist - CNC - (1st & 2nd shift)

Duration : 6+ months – contract to hire role

Location : Beverly MA / Wilmington, MA/ Woburn, MA

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Previous experience in sheet metal and tool and die work is essential.

Under the guidance of a supervisor, operates a limited array of machinery including lathes, specific millers, grinders, and drill presses.

Follows standard drawings, process sheets, and verbal instructions for tasks.

Executes machine operations under supervision, utilizing tape control, and makes basic adjustments as needed.

Conducts adjustments to machinery during operations to uphold high product quality and quantity.

Ensures adherence to specified tolerances.

Conducts visual inspections of parts and subassemblies to verify freedom from defects.

Maintains cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of work area and equipment.
