SAP PP/MM Consultant

Basics:

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months

Travel: 75-100% to Malvern, PA

Full time role (approximately 40 hours per week)

Manufacturing industry experience required, preferably High-Tech Manufacturing

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional/technical solutions

Collaborate cross functionally to ensure a cohesive solution is obtained for all business processes.

Provide business team with expert guidance to standardize master and transactional data elements.

Provide expert guidance on SAP MM and PP modules, including best practices, processes, and solutions.

Document SAP S/4HANA global template demonstrating elements which are mandatory, recommended and targets for localization within the PP space. This may be a combination of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 (preferred: 15+) years of experience with global SAP full cycle implementations in a consulting role.

Minimum of 3 global SAP S/4HANA implementations in a consulting role.

Minimum of 5 years with a deep understanding of the SAP PP and SAP MM modules including its configuration and customization.

Production Planning: Should be familiar with all aspects of Production Planning, such as demand management, material requirements planning (MRP), shop floor control, and capacity requirements planning.

Materials Management: Should be familiar with all aspects including purchasing, goods receiving, material storage, consumption-based planning, and inventory

Experience in SAP PP and SAP MM integration aspects with other modules like SD, FICO, IM/WM, etc.

Experience in implementing variant configuration in a manufacturing environment.

Experience creating/updating global templates for SAP Implementations

Understanding of accounting business processes in a global environment.

Understanding of organizational models in SAP and implications to establish global templates.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables on a project at the same time.

Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective and translate to system capabilities.

Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.

Must be results-oriented and demonstrate a positive attitude and flexibility with changing priorities.

Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

Preferred Skills:

SAP S/HANA Certification in PP and/or MM

Proven experience with structure and content of SAP S/4HANA Logistics Best Practices
