Building Automation Systems (BAS) Specialist

$60-120K, depending on experience

Location: Houston, TX

Permanent/Direct Hire

Summary:

The BAS Programmer/Technician will work as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of DDC building automation systems (BAS). Responsibilities include:

Manage installation subcontractor during construction phase of project to keep them on track and on schedule.

Creation of software programs and animated front end graphics.

Checkout, start-up and commissioning on projects.

Performs service repairs, adjustments and calibration on building systems.

Coordinate customer-training and complete closeout documents.

Provide technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable.

Qualifications include, but not limited to:

3-5 years of experience with DDC Building Automation Systems (BAS), BACnet, Siemens Apogee preferred.

3-5 years with Siemens Systems preferred.

Certificates Preferred: Siemens Apogee, PPCL

Must be familiar with various hand and power tools.

Proficient in reading wiring diagrams.

Both written and verbal communication skills a must.

Proficient with IP networks.

Some flexibility to work overtime/weekends.

Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.

Occasional travel may be required.
