DevOps Engineer

Ovise has partnered on this search with an industry leading retail company. Joining as a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be integral to their Infrastructure Team, overseeing AWS operations. Collaborating closely with various departments, you'll manage diverse applications and spearhead the transition to a native AWS environment. They're seeking a seasoned developer with extensive AWS knowledge and a focus on optimizing performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain AWS infrastructure.

Provide support during outages.

Enhance performance, monitoring, and security measures.

Refine deployment pipelines.

Assist developers with access and deployment.

Optimize high-traffic websites.

Develop automation tools.

Monitor and manage AWS spending.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Substantial experience in Infrastructure, Dev support roles or ideally come from a Software Development background.

Previous experience in a DevOps role within a sizeable AWS/Cloud setup.

Proficiency with DevOps best practices and the AWS CLI.

Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Python, Groovy, or Bash.

Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, RabbitMQ, and AWS SQS.

Experience with AWS services like ECS, EC2, S3, IAM, etc.
