Quality Control Chemist - Irvine, CA

Summary:

Join our team as a QC Chemist A in Irvine, CA. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to conduct analytical testing, maintain instrumentation, and contribute to laboratory investigations and method development.

Details:

Pay rate: $27 - $32/hr DOE

Shift: Monday - Friday, Flexible start time, 6-9am PST

Duration: Direct-hire (permanent position)

Responsibilities:

Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.

Document laboratory investigations and peer review data.

Develop, validate, and troubleshoot analytical methods.

Conduct method transfers and author standard operating procedures.

Assist with equipment calibrations and qualification.

Support laboratory management in employee training and audit preparation.

Fulfill other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.

2-5 years of experience in a chemistry laboratory or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2-5 years of experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, CE, ICP, FTIR, and/or dissolution apparatus.

Industry HPLC experience required

2+ years of experience in a GLP or GMP preferred environment.

Proficiency in following standard operating procedures.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision.

Attention to detail and accuracy.
