Architectural Designer / Captain

HPA was founded in 1980 in Irvine, California and offers services in Planning, Architecture, and

Interiors. While maintaining a small highly interactive team structure, HPA has designed

millions of square feet of industrial facilities. Concentrating in design for the workplace, HPA

has created pre-eminent Biotech, food processing, electronics, and hazardous materials

facilities for developers and corporations throughout the Country.

HPA has become an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) company since 2021, where it enables employees to own a part of the company.

HPA is seeking to add a Job Captain for our Irvine office located in Irvine, California. We are looking for experienced professionals who can work closely with team members to achieve project goals. HPA has earned it’s reputation for producing high quality designs in fast time frames through the efforts of self motivated professionals

organized in highly effective teams. We are service oriented and conscientious of our clients

interests.

Responsibilities

Set project timeline

Monitor project deliverables

Update clients or team members on the project progress

Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is essential

• 3 to 5 years experience with commercial and industrial projects

• Experience with tilt-up construction preferred

• Bachelor or Masters of Architecture required
