Litigation Attorney

Position Overview: I am currently working with a highly reputable litigation boutique law firm in Chicago, who are actively looking for a Finance Litigation Attorney to join their team.

Responsibilities:

As a key member of the firm's litigation department, you will be responsible for representing the firm's clients in a variety of financial disputes, including but not limited to, banking litigation, securities litigation, regulatory investigations, and other complex commercial matters.

Conducting legal research and analysis on complex financial issues.

Drafting legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.

Representing clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials

Negotiating settlements and alternative dispute resolutions

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to the Illinois state bar and in good standing.

3+ years of experience practicing finance litigation at a reputable law firm.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience representing financial institutions, investment banks, or other finance-related entities would be a plus.
