List of three references
Two writing samples for which you had primary responsibility with respect to style and content—as opposed to samples that were edited heavily by professors, judges, or other lawyers. Each writing sample should be accompanied by a one-paragraph summary stating the circumstances under which the sample was drafted and what the sample conveys about you as a writer. We encourage at least one writing sample from something of interest to the candidate, regardless of whether it is law-related or not.
