Position: Assembler
Job Overview: As an Assembler at our Golf Cart Assembly Plant, you will be a vital part of our production team responsible for building golf carts to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve following assembly procedures, utilizing various hand and power tools, and working collaboratively with your team to ensure the efficient assembly of our products. Reports to the Assembly Team Lead - Golf Cart Assembly
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly:
Follow detailed assembly instructions to build golf carts according to specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
Quality Control:
Inspect parts and components for quality and accuracy before assembly.
Report any defects or issues to the Quality Inspection team or Team Lead.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and ensure seamless assembly line operations.
Maintain effective communication with colleagues and supervisors.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
Inventory Management:
Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring the correct use of parts and materials during assembly.
Notify the Materials Planning team of any shortages or discrepancies.
Efficiency and Productivity:
Strive to meet or exceed production goals and assembly schedules.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and diagrams.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry moderate weights.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
