PCB Design Embedded Engineer - Electronics

LHH Recruitment Solutions has a fully on-site 5 days a week PCB Design/Embedded Engineer (ELECTRONICS - MCU) for our client in the Dayton, NJ area. This direct hire role focuses on research and development of projects including updates to existing materials. This hands on, on-site role delves into product validation, hardware development, pre-certification testing, and firmware development. This role will be responsible for creations of proposals, presentations to management and management of projects from start to finish. Some travel may be required to client facilities for oversight of implementation and any issues resolution. This position will also require a proven experience in interacting with UL and FCC standards. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with a BS in Electronics Engineering. Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000 DOE.

Responsibilities:

· Consistent means to acknowledge and improve processes and systems.

· Accountable for creation, development, production of and testing measures of MCU embedded Systems.

· Design, implement and budget for projects and system improvements.

· Communicate thoroughly, on time, and in full to management to represent the organization professionally.

· Travel expectation of up to 10%, including international.

· Define and set priorities and duties for team implementation.

· Define, outline and guide team members of career progression, goals, setbacks and drive professional growth for each team member.

· Creation and implementation of any special projects designed to increase and better performance management.

· Define performance management in several key areas to drive effective, cost effective and data backed decision.

· Determine escalation needs of issues that arise with Asset Management and Operations Teams as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering

Minimum of 5 years in electronics engineering of MCU embedded systems

Must have experience in data analysis, problem solving as well as design thinking driven.

IAR Embedded Workbench

Microchip MPLAB

Microchip

ST Micro Assembly Language

Schematic Capture

Analog and Digital hardware design

RF

Embedded C

Board Stuffing

Must have 2 years minimum of management experience leading a team of engineers and/or a

Embedded Linux OS highly preferred
