DevOps Cloud Engineer - Permanent

Full time, Permanent opportunity for

a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to work on a hybrid schedule for our Hanover, NJ based client. The ideal candidate will have GCP cloud experience, expertise in DevOps best practices, and CI/CD pipeline optimization skills.

Qualifications:

8+ years of IT experience.

3+ years with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.

2+ years with IaC – terraform/ARM/Cloud formation.

GCP or equivalent cloud platform experience.

Strong networking, security, and Agile Methodologies knowledge.

Responsibilities:

IT Operations: On-call support, policy development, system monitoring, and cross-department collaboration.

Monitoring with DataDog: Configuration, custom dashboard creation, and data analysis.

Azure DevOps Integration: CI/CD and version control management, and collaboration with development teams.

Power Automate Implementation: Automation workflow design, stakeholder collaboration, and application integration.

Scripting and Automation: Script development, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and deployment pipeline optimization.

Cloud Advocacy: Promote cloud adoption, execute migration plans, and implement API solutions.

Collaboration & Training: Cross-team collaboration, end-user support, and staff training.

Documentation: Maintenance of operational and automation documentation.
