Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Perform electrical engineering services within the Reliability E&I team. The Sr. Electrical Engineer will work under the direction of a more experienced engineer to successfully execute projects and routine technical assignments.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Assist with day-to-day trouble shooting and monitoring of units.

Ø Research projects and make evaluations with limited assistance.

Ø Analyze data and present findings in written scheduled reports.

Ø Lead incident investigations, including root cause failure analysis.

Ø Conduct routine assignments within a team environment.

Ø Develop knowledge of facility operations.

Ø Provide technical support to routine maintenance and area business teams.

Ø Interact with assigned business teams to optimize the business units.

Ø Follow directions, solve basic job issues, and seek outside help.

Ø Support Process Safety Management Programs.

Ø Research projects and make evaluations and recommendations.

Ø Apply economic evaluations to increase profit potential and reduce project costs.

Ø Fulfill assignments with attention to detail by identifying issues and creating solutions.

Ø Gather pertinent information to improve operation and/or service.

Ø Understand and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards.

Ø Respond quickly and accurately to issues and concerns.

Ø Develop scope of work for maintenance repairs and work orders.

Ø Develop preventative maintenance procedures.

Ø Support off-shift trouble-shooting efforts as necessary.

Ø Assist in Honeywell TDC maintenance.

Ø Develop planned shutdown scope of work recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

v Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree in Electrical Engineering

v 5+ years of relevant experience in high and medium electrical voltage.
