Salary: $21 - $22 per hour, depending on experience

Position: Production Coordinator

Job Overview: As a Production Coordinator at our Golf Cart Assembly Plant, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and organized flow of production activities. You will work closely with production teams, supervisors, and other departments to optimize processes, meet production targets, and uphold quality standards. Reports to Workshop Manager - Golf Cart Assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning:

Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

Ensure that production plans align with customer demands, inventory levels, and available resources.

Resource Allocation:

Assign and allocate manpower, machinery, and materials to meet production goals.

Coordinate with the Materials Planning team to ensure timely availability of components and materials.

Production Coordination:

Monitor the progress of production activities, addressing any issues or delays promptly.

Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability among production teams.

Quality Assurance:

Work closely with the Quality Control team to maintain product quality and resolve quality-related issues.

Implement quality control measures and process improvements as needed.

Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels of finished products and components, taking action to prevent shortages or excesses.

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain records of production data, including output, scrap, and downtime.

Prepare reports on production performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Three (3) years of experience in production coordination, manufacturing, or a related role.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems.
