Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling and Supervision:

Efficiently schedule drivers for pickups and deliveries, ensuring optimal resource utilization and adherence to timelines.

Monitor driver routes and performance, providing guidance and support to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Step in to assist with driving duties as needed to maintain uninterrupted service.

Training and Mentoring:

Train and mentor drivers to enhance their performance, focusing on safety, customer service, and adherence to schedules.

Diagnose performance problems and implement real-time solutions to ensure continuous improvement.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drivers.

Customer Service:

Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Resolve issues related to pickups and deliveries promptly and professionally.

Foster positive relationships with customers, enhancing the company's reputation for reliability and service excellence.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Coordinate routine maintenance and inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and address repair needs promptly.

Ensure compliance with transportation laws and regulations.

Policy Enforcement:

Enforce company policies and procedures among the driver team, ensuring consistent adherence.

Update and communicate any changes in policies or procedures to the team in a timely manner.

Ensure all operations are conducted in line with company standards and legal requirements.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with the Driver Supervisor and other team members to continuously improve service quality.

Participate in team meetings, offering insights and suggestions for operational enhancements.

Assist in the onboarding and training of new drivers, emphasizing the importance of company values and customer service.
