Job Title: Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative / For 1ST, 2ND, or 3RD, Shifts positions available - Private Medical Transportation (Non-Emergency)

Job Description: As a Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative for our private medical transportation company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our drivers are on time, safe, and adhering to a safe approach. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing driver routes, monitoring their timeliness, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently schedule and dispatch drivers to transport patients to medical appointments, utilizing real-time communication and dispatch software.

Monitor driver routes to ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of patients, while promoting a safe and clean-cut approach.

Maintain effective communication with drivers to provide necessary updates, address concerns, and offer guidance on route optimization.

Act as the main point of contact for drivers, providing support, guidance, and motivation to ensure they adhere to company policies and present a professional image.

Handle incoming calls from patients, healthcare professionals, and their families, providing excellent customer service and resolving inquiries and concerns.

Coordinate with healthcare facilities and patients to obtain accurate and detailed trip information, ensuring a smooth transportation experience.

Collaborate with drivers to address any unforeseen challenges or delays, finding solutions to maintain timely service.

Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and safety procedures to promote a safe working environment for drivers and patients.

Maintain accurate records of routes, trip details, and relevant data for reporting and analysis purposes.

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dispatch area, ensuring all necessary documentation and equipment are readily available.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (additional education/training in transportation management, customer service, or a related field is a plus).

Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, customer service, or a similar role is preferred.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple drivers and prioritize their routes effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with drivers, patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make quick decisions, and adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining attention to detail.

Familiarity with dispatching software and real-time communication tools is advantageous.

Knowledge of medical transportation regulations and industry best practices is beneficial.

Ability to maintain a professional and clean-cut approach, both in appearance and in communication.

Proficiency in computer systems, including data entry and basic software applications.
