Human Resources Specialist
Nature of Employment: Initially temporary, potentially transitioning to permanent
Duration: 4-6 months before converting to permanent
Role: HR Specialist
Salary Range: $25-$29 hourly
Location: Atlanta, GA 30339, In Office M-F
Responsibilities:
Tactical and Transactional HR work
Business Critical Functions: Background checks (BG), Reasonable Suspicion, Workers' Compensation (managing auto accidents), acting as a liaison, ensuring claims processing, claims adjustment, return-to-work confirmation, Leave of Absence (LOA), auditing, I9 verification, managing labor law posters, generating various reports
Skills Required: Proficiency in I9 Advantage, HRIS Workday, Excel (Basic Pivot Tables)
Priorities: Background and Drug Testing (BG and DG Test), monitoring Workday inbox, reviewing test results
Hiring Volume: Recruiting 20-50 candidates weekly for 50 locations
Additional Responsibilities:
Pre-employment screenings: Background checks, Drug testing
Leave of Absence (LOA) management
Workers' Compensation coordination
Pre-employment I9 verification
Reporting dutiesCultural Fit:
Work Environment: Casual attire (jeans without holes)

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
