VACANCY: Hangar Assistant

REPORTING TO: Dispatch Supervisor

LOCATION: Durban

Starlite Aviation Training Academy (Pty) Ltd has a requirement for a punctual, reliable, hardworking team player to fill this position in Durban within the Starlite Aviation Group.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cleaning and upkeep of hangar, including sweeping and mopping floor

Cleaning helipads and surrounding areas

Cleaning of interior and exterior of aircraft according to our corrosion control programme

Moving and re-fuelling of aircraft

Maintenance of garden/lawn

Other duties as assigned.

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Good communication skills

Strong on compliance

Strong focus on Safety and Quality

Report to duty on time and manage time keeping

Ability to lift and move reasonable loads.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

The following list of qualifications is essential to fill the position:

Grade 12

Previous experience with aviation support (advantageous)
