EMC Satellite Systems Engineer

Job Description

Summary: Seeking a Satellite Electrical EMC Systems Engineer with extensive experience in the space & satellite industry, specializing in design, testing, and integration of electrical/EMC systems.

Requirements:

BS in Electrical Engineering or higher

Minimum 8 years of experience in the space & satellite industry

Proven background in Satellite electrical/EMC design and test

Demonstrated ability to conduct system tests and troubleshoot issues

Hands-on leadership during systems integration phases

Proficiency with qualification and acceptance testing for new designs

Preferred Skills:

Fluency in French is an asset

Experience leading and mentoring technical teams

Responsibilities:

Lead the resolution of complex electrical/EMC problems

Guide the qualification and acceptance testing processes for new satellite designs

Support the Spacecraft operations team during critical missions

Additional Information:

Position is mostly remote with some travel required; expenses covered by client.

ITAR work regulations compliance necessary.

US Citizenship required; no sponsorship available for other visa types.

Contract duration: 3 to 6 months, starting approximately 6 weeks from job posting date due to contract formalities.

Pay Details: $67.00 to $90.00 per hour
