Fahrenheit Advisors is looking for an entrepreneurial-minded Managing Director of Growth for our Human Capital Consulting and Executive Search Practices. This critical role will be responsible for expanding our clients base and growing our Human Capital Practices through Business Development efforts and Go To Market Strategies. This position will report to our COO based out of our HQ in Scott’s Addition in Richmond, VA but can be based in the Central Va or Tidewater areas. The position will require up to 50% travel throughout Virginia and some nationally.

Position Summary

This position will play a key role in driving business growth and fostering client relationships. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of Human Resources principles. This role will collaborate closely with the Human Capital Practice Leaders to identify opportunities for expansion, develop customized solutions for clients, and ensure alignment with HR strategies to support organizational objectives. Our Human Capital Practice includes the following functional areas: Talent Management, Talent Development, HR Management, Compensation & Benefits, Culture & Belonging, and Executive Search & Recruiting. This position requires experience and a depth of understanding of these functional areas to be able to have strategic and consultative conversations with prospect and clients and identifying their needs and matching to our internal solution capabilities.

Growth- Business Development

Engage in a variety of business development related activities, developing new business relationships through networking and client leads, referrals and various forms of marketing and development activities.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Participate in the growth of the practice area as well as the overall organization.

Collaborate with Leadership to formulate and execute a national sales strategy for the Human Capital Consulting and Executive Search and Recruitment Practices, driving the expansion and market penetration of all Human Capital services.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of HR and Executive Search trends, using insights to guide the development of tailored solutions for clients.

Develop strategies to enter and expand within new markets, pioneering innovative service delivery models.

Responsible for full life cycle of client engagement to include scoping, pricing, proposal writing, selling, and project onboarding.

Collaborate with the HC Practice to align business development efforts within multiple service lines including talent acquisition, fractional and interim HR engagements, Talent Management, Learning and Development, and coaching.

Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products/services.

Conduct regular analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business development strategies and identify areas for improvement.

Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance the company's visibility and expand its network of contacts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.

Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.

Strong understanding of Human Resources principles, including talent management, employee engagement, and compliance.

Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze market data and identify growth opportunities.

Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Experience with PE firms and selling due diligence and post-M&A integration services.

Deep understanding of current and emerging Human Capital trends.

A track record of expanding business within new markets and market segments

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
