DevSecOps Engineer - Terraform

Job Title : DevSecOps Engineer Location : Gurugram Job Type : Full-time Department : Information Technology / Cybersecurity Job Summary : As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will embody the fusion of development, security, and operations.

Your role will be pivotal in the modern software development lifecycle, championing the integration of security principles and practices from the outset to ensure that robust security measures are baked into applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain secure automation processes to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of applications.

- Implement and manage security tools and technologies to scan and detect vulnerabilities in code and infrastructure.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures into the software development process.

- Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews to identify potential security issues.

- Automate security controls and compliance checks within the development pipeline.

- Monitor security systems for anomalies and respond to incidents as required.

- Educate and train staff on security best practices and awareness.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with cloud services and security aspects in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills : - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security.

- Prior experience in a DevSecOps role or similar.

- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
