The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Controller and serve as an integral member of the Finance team.
Responsibilities
Assist in month-end close (prepare reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement review, etc.)
Review monthly department expenses
Consolidation validation for all subsidiaries
Monthly intercompany general ledger reconciliation
Update consolidation closing binder by month
Depreciation/CIP/Fixed Asset in-service review/reconciliations
Handle sales tax return requirements by coordinating with Avalara and handling notices as they arise
Prepare quarterly analytics for auditors
ASC 842 lease reconciliation and calculations
ASC 606 quarterly sales cutoff analysis
Review intercompany aging and settle intercompany cash as needed
Adheres to company policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
Treats others with courtesy, sensitivity, and respect at all times
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors’ degree required
A minimum of 2 years as a Senior Accountant or equivalent
4+ years public accounting experience required.
Public/private mix preferred but will consider straight out of public accounting.
Sarbanes-Oxley experience preferred
Broad knowledge of accounting concepts, analytical skills
Heightened curiosity to ensure financial accuracy and process improvements.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and constantly changing workload.
Strong work ethic, self-motivated, drive for completion.
Willingness and ability to perform day-to-day operational tasks as well as high level analysis.
Proactive, responsive and timely problem solver with project management skills
Pays attention to detail, drives processes and meets deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively across the Company.
