IRONDELTA, based in Northern Utah, is growing and currently seeking a seasoned and qualified Structural Steel and Pre-Fabricated Metal Building Erection Foreman to join our company and work on small and large-scale projects.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in the steel construction industry. Preference given to those with experience in both structural steel and pre-engineered metal buildings.

Must be willing/able to travel from project to project throughout the state of Utah and to the occasional jobs in the surrounding states and be away from home for an extended period of time.

High School diploma or equivalent.

OSHA 10/30 training preferred, but not required.

Ability to verbally communicate in a professional manner with the project team and client.

Must be drug-free and eligible to work in the US.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee, promote and execute safe work practices.

Work with management personnel on project planning, bid estimation and daily work activities including assigning tasks to crew members.

Perform the work within the constraints of the budget and schedule.

Excellent leadership and training skills to help crew members develop their trade knowledge and skills.

Troubleshoot problems and work toward solutions with other project stakeholders.

Tech savvy enough to complete daily logs in our project management software.

Steel framing, welding, decking, wall sheeting, insulation install, roofing, trim, fascia, soffit, gutters, etc.

Operate heavy equipment such as telehandlers, and boom lifts.

Take ownership of the project. Be the first one on the job and the last one to leave.

Set a high standard for safety and quality. Expect everyone to meet that standard.

Meet project deadlines by working smart and productively.

Have a superb ability to read prints and details and communicate those concepts to the crew.

Great attitude, work ethic, sense of humor and the ability to create a positive work environment with crew members is icing on the cake.
