YOUR TASKS:
Role Summary:
Provide business partnering for the assigned department/function and will lead the following touchpoints of HR:
1. Compensation and Benefits
2. Performance and Programs
Key Activities:
Business Partnering:
Build strong relationship and trust with leaders and colleagues, offer HR expertise and coaching on people issues, assist leaders to gain a better understanding of employees' needs and career aspirations.
Work closely with leaders to analyse, anticipate and outline present and future organisational capabilities.
Provide relevant tools and programs to attract, develop, and retain talents.
Implement HR practices on talent management, leadership development and talent acquisition to close gaps on organisation capabilities and sustain a sufficient talent pipeline to achieve business goals and further enhance long-term competitive advantage.
Drive the people processes (performance, development and career) and serve as a facilitator and coach managers on performance management.
Ensure the execution and delivery of HR operational activities in an effective and efficient manner.
Contribute expertise to the assigned function on competency enhancement.
Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve the HR policies and initiatives thus enhancing overall business performance.
Compensation & Benefits:
Payroll:
Oversee and direct payroll procedures.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations.
Post Salary & Bonus Review Process:
Generation and distribution of salary review letters to employees.
Generation and distribution of bonus review letters to employees.
Liaise with the insurers & service providers for smooth administration of benefits.
C&B Administration:
Issue of letters to employees.
Provide required information for Expat Benefits, if any.
Administration of expat benefits.
Reporting of R&R related sections in RO & DPWN HR Matrix.
Employee wise monthly payroll data (Masters) to be sent to Area R&R.
Monthly Head count reporting to Area R&R.
Performance and Programs:
Provide timely communication with regards to Programs and Performance.
Support to implement Regional Office mandated timelines with My Talent World and GTS.
Gather voices of employees through the Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) and provide them to managers and supervisors to improve employee engagement and active leadership.
Manage the internal and external awards documentation and communication.
Provide support to resolve the HR related issues in the team.
Enhance employee communications to understand companywide or HR related key message and information.
Become one stop contact point for Performance and Programs related matters for employees to increase efficiency and convenience.
Gather voices of employees and provide them to functional HR team to design/revise/start/stop HR programs, system, process and initiatives.
Communicate new/revised HR programs/systems with employees to make them understand thoroughly and properly.
People Management
Develop and share vision for Development in DHL
Determine organization structure, roles and responsibility and performance targets for the function
Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness
Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team
Plan, organise and direct an efficient and effective function
Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance
Conduct performance appraisal, including coaching
Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets
Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department

7-10 years of experience in HR
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred
