We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Permanent Assistant Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This exciting role offers an ideal opportunity for individuals who are passionate about construction, project management, and are eager to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of challenging construction projects, working closely with our talented team of professionals to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be expected to:

1. Assist the Project Manager in all phases and aspects of the project, ensuring that project objectives are met on time and within budget.

2. Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

3. Review and manage project submittals, ensuring all documents are accurately prepared and submitted on time.

4. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

5. Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.

6. Participate in project meetings, providing updates and feedback on project status.

7. Identify potential project risks and assist in developing and implementing mitigation strategies.

8. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.

9. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project management.

3. Proven experience with project submittal process.

4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

5. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.

8. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing project needs.

10. Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) is a plus.
