What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a talented and driven Certified Medical Assistant to join our McLean clinic. This position will provide required support to physicians, RN’s and other staff members in performing physical examinations and other procedures. This is a great opportunity for healthcare professionals passionate about preventive care who value working with a team of dedicated and hard-working clinicians.

In this role, you will:

Perform Electrocardiogram’s (EKG’s) and other medical screenings

Draw blood – phlebotomy experience is a must

Measure vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height)

Record information on patients’ charts

Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients

Answer incoming phone calls and check patients in

What the role requires:

Graduate degree from an accredited allied health school

Certification as required by the state of Virginia

Must be a current member of the AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCT

Two or more years’ experience in the medical field

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Working knowledge of MS Office and Web-based applications

Practices a preventive health lifestyle

The Salary range for this role is $40,000 - $50,000 and is determined by a number of factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and skills.
