Position objective:

The Billing Specialist will provide administrative support to the accounts receivable team. He/she will gather data, calculate charges and fees, and create invoices for billing purposes under the supervision of the AR manager. This position requires a detail-oriented, self-starting individual.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Scanning and paying citation bills

Answering inbound phones calls and addresses customer requests as needed

Prepares billing repairs, mileage, and other assessorial costs to clients

Provide support for internal and external audits

General customer service obligations

Monthly billing paperwork

Maintains and updates customer files

Assist with any other duties assigned

Skills and Experience

Analytical with strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to a fast-paced environment

High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively

Detail-oriented

Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (excel/outlook), adobe suite

Results driven and proactive; strong desire to own and execute area of responsibility with excellence

Adaptability/flexibility to change as company requires

Supervision: Moderate must be able to follow directions and work independently

Languages: English fluency required

Training/Education required: High school diploma or equivalent; with some college or degree preferred

Experience required: 1+ years' experience in administrative/office/finance

Work Environment: This role requires the physical demands of prolong periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Wage: $23/hr

Must be willing to complete Background Check and MVR
