WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Vice President of Hotel Sales is responsible for driving bookings at Dreamscape's Rio Las Vegas Hotel & Casino to achieve maximum occupancy. This role collaborates closely with the Hotel Operations, Casino Marketing, and Food & Beverage leaders to ensure satisfaction for both new and returning guests.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Drive the revenue of the hotel through negotiated contracts with vendors and customers.

Analyze inventory levels, forecast staffing needs and align room promotions with events occurring in the casino, restaurants and convention space.

Set monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals to grow market share.

Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction.

Collaborate with Finance and operational leaders to develop pricing strategies that align with market conditions, competitive analysis, and customer demand.

Oversee the distribution channels for the hotel bookings, including online travel agencies (OTAs), direct bookings and other distribution partners.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average daily rate (ADR), revenue per available room (RevPAR), occupancy rates, and market share to identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to optimize revenue.

Provide Team Member growth opportunities and foster a high-performance culture within team.

Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position directly oversees the Hotel Sales team.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum ten (10) years of experience in revenue management and/or hotel operations.

Minimum three (3) years of progressive leadership experience.

Strong organizational skills, solution-driven, and analytical thinker.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Strong computer proficiency; ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and applicable operational software.

Bachelor’s Degree (required).

At least 21 years of age.

PREFERRED

Master’s degree hospitality management.

Proficient in using Workday, Opera, and other similar software.

Five (5) years experience of leading large teams.

Experience working in a similar resort setting.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.

Must regularly lift and/move up to 10 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.

PAY RANGE

The salary range for this position is $200,000 - 225,000/annual.
