Licensed Practice Nurse or Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Practice Nurse or Medical Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients. This is a part-time position for 1 (one) day per week only, Thursdays in our office in Warner Robins, Georgia. Additional days may be available for the candidate willing to commute and work in our office in Albany, Georgia, and a stipend will be paid to the candidate for their travel from Warner Robins to work in Albany. Otherwise, this opportunity will be ideal for the candidate looking to supplement their income to work 1 (one) day per week, Thursdays, in Warner Robins.

Responsibilities:

Provide basic patient care and treatment

Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner

Perform routine clinical tasks including obtaining vital signs and data entry of patient historical information

Provide assistance to medical staff for injection procedures

Escort patients to exam rooms

Educate and update patients on medical treatments

Qualifications:

Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields is advantageous to the candidate, however training will be provided

Familiarity with electronic health record

Strong organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a moderately-paced environment
