Script Writer

We are seeking a creative, dynamic, and experienced Script Writer to join our YouTube and social media team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting engaging, informative, and entertaining content that resonates with our target audience across various social media platforms, with a strong emphasis on YouTube.

Responsibilities:

Develop and write original, compelling scripts for YouTube videos and other social media content, adhering to brand guidelines and target audience preferences

Collaborate with the creative team, including video producers, editors, and social media managers, to conceptualize and develop content ideas

Conduct thorough research on relevant topics, trends, and competitors to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content

Adapt writing style and tone to suit different social media platforms and target audiences

Create engaging Titles, descriptions, and meta tags for YouTube videos and other social media posts

Proofread and edit scripts to ensure clarity, coherence, and grammatical accuracy

Assist in the development of content calendars and ensure timely delivery of scripts

Analyze video and social media performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize future content

Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platforms, and best practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in script writing, copywriting, or content creation, preferably for YouTube or other social media platforms

Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent writing skills and the ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences

In-depth knowledge of YouTube and other major social media platforms, including best practices and trends

Familiarity with SEO principles and how to incorporate them into scripts and content

Excellent research skills and the ability to quickly grasp and communicate complex topics

Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace

Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
