Web portal is one of the main channels of interactions with our customers, enabling customer subscription for connected services. We start our customer’s journey with our web portal, even before they have purchased one of our vehicles, and even when they are far away from their car. Web portal for connected vehicles present additional challenges due to the complexity of the cloud systems and the regulatory requirements specific to the automobile industry.

Take part in developing our exciting Web Applications as a reference for the developers, understanding requirements, developing and optimizing code for performance, stability and maintainability; collaborate with a cross-functional team of application/UI software engineers and QA/Validation; solve complex technical problems using industry best practices being compliant to enterprise security policies; drive continuous improvement through code reviews, monitoring and defect analysis. Use agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to realize the technical solution with product owners and product owner to identify minimal viable product and support user stories definition and readiness. You will train and guide developers to carry out the work and ensure “best in class” people.

You will join the Development team under our Development Team Lead within the Channels organization.

Primary responsibilities can include:

Design, develop, and maintain modular and reusable Angular components within a micro frontend architecture.

Develop responsive and high-performance user interfaces using Angular.

Implement micro frontend patterns to enable independent development and deployment of UI components.

Build scalable architecture and help other developers to contribute to the overall frontend architecture and design decisions.

Ensure consistency and coherence across different micro frontends, maintaining a unified and user-friendly experience.

Write and execute unit tests, verify and guarantee code coverage.

Set Technical Direction and coordination for Junior Developers

Closely work within your scrum team (Product Owner, Scrum master, UX and validation) to create the code, detect dependencies and coordinate with developers to find remedies, utilizing defined Architecture and development tools.

Investigate non-functional improvements in the code.

Spokesperson for the team to express innovations

Stay tuned with web technology in order to maintain best in class solution.

Requirements:

Strong background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on working experience with Typescript, ES6 and at least one of the frameworks such as Angular, React or VueJs. Preferably Angular.

Must have hands-on working experience with frontend build tools and preprocessors (Webpack, Rullupjs, SASS/LESS).

Must have experience in building modular, reusable web components and design systems.

Must be proficient in understanding web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.

Must have knowledge of modern UX paradigms.

Should have experience in building micro-frontend architecture patterns and best practices.

Should have experience building successful web portals with a large user base.

Should have experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

Good to have experience in working in Agile-Scrum / SAFe development environment. Familiarity with DevOps and DevSec tools.

Good to have knowledge of basic architecture for web apps and iOT.
