Solutions Architect - Teamcenter Polarion

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion and involved in entire PLM

Experience in PLM requirement gathering and converting the same to functionalities in Teamcenter

Minimum 10+ years of experience in Teamcenter PLM customization, configuration, development, and solution mapping

You have extensive experience with software configuration management tools such as Git, SVN and working experience with Java, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, Web services incl. RESTful web services

Your understanding of Polarion includes various templates including Agile and SAFe templates, integrations with other platforms such as Teamcenter, JIRA etc.

If you have similar work experience with other driven solutions such as JIRA, IBM Rational DOORS, or other Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions

Strong command on development and coding, should have strong development skills.

Understand the requirements and identify appropriate Polarion Template to define support Business requirement

Leverage the MORE (Model, Organize, Reports and Enforce) Implementation Framework to drive the Polarion configurations, Reports and Security rules

Work to define the Polarion configurations artifacts and their repository structure to deploy configurations in a consistent manner

Define the Requirements import procedure from Word, Excel, and PDF leveraging Polarion supported Configuration/Extensions

Define Library Management to store Requirements Templates for various GBEs in scope

Configure the Polarion to Salesforce integration solution using publicly available Polarion extension

Configure the Polarion PDF requirements import using publicly available DRIM extension

Generic managerial skills, excellent communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills
