Dairy:

We offer a comprehensive range of dairy ingredients to meet your business needs, enabling the creation of delicious, nutritious, and convenient dairy products across various categories. As dairy ingredients supplier, we work with partners positioned at each stage of the dairy supply chain, from milk production to processing, to provide quality dairy products. Our facilities in Malaysia and New Zealand produce high-quality dairy ingredients, creating functionality and value for our customers.

India is the world’s largest dairy market with a predominant internal play. There are significant arbitrages that exist between local and international prices and at times within different regions of India itself. Our intention is to tap into both these arbitrages as and when available. Our ambition for the Dairy business in India would be to become the predominant exporter from the country taking advantage of arbitrages when they exist, participate in local supply chain operations to become a key supplier to the ofi customer base and explore deeper participation in the dairy industry either upstream or downstream.

Overview of the position

We are seeking a Co-Packer (CP) Operations and Quality Manager for our India Dairy business to monitor the quality of the product being manufactured at the toller (Fortune Dairy) apart from coordinating on the planning, scheduling, and dispatches. To ensure that the incoming raw material is as per OFI’s specifications and that the manufacturing protocols are followed which will enable us to meet the specs of the finished products. The individual will report to Vice President- Dairy

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new contract manufacture partners wherever needed.

Qualification of contract manufacture from operations perspective.

Operate cross-functionally to support efficient and effective product commercialization strategies and manufacturing best practices.

Develop and manage long-term capacity needs to meet future growth.

Develop contract manufacturing framework from concept to commercialization and monthly tracking.

Coordinate with Sales, Innovation, QFS, and other internal stake holders to cross-functionally resolve issues.

Ensure that the Finished Goods are manufactured as per the specifications of OFI.

Ensure that all the SOPs are followed at the Co-packer to ensure compliance to GMP.

Experience & Qualification

Bachelors/master’s degree in Dairy/Food Technology

10-12 years of experience in the manufacturing operations or contract manufacturing operations with a strong preference for Dairy & Food.

Experience with evaluating and improving manufacturing performance and effectively managing contract manufacturer relationships to drive innovation, quality, food safety and costs.

Exhibit verbal and written communication with ability to communicate with internal and external stake holders.

Planning and problem-solving skills

Willingness to travel as required to vendor, supplier, and contract manufacturing locations.
