Design Specialist - Senior and Experienced

Experience : 2 to 12 Years of experience

Candidate must have prior OSP engineering design experience and should be familiar with fiber planning (FTTH) concepts. The candidate should have strong knowledge on Telecom technologies.

Candidate must have knowledge on Pole Loading Analysis (Quick Pole/SPiDA/Ocalc) and hands on experience and make ready solutions (atleast for 1 year to 3 years work experience on pole analysis)

Candidate must have knowledge on permits creation with hands-on experience (both Underground and Aerial permits - atleast for 1 year to 3 years work experience on permits creation).

Candidate should have previous experience in preparation of permit applications and drawings, familiar with reading and extrapolating data from state and local highway plans, scaled engineering plans.

Experience with copper and fiber network additions, FTTP/FTTN expansion, broadband expansion, GPON architecture, pair gain sites and long-haul fiber deployment is required.

The candidate must be able to work collaboratively on a team, manage time effectively, and communicate daily progress status to all reporting managers & stakeholders.

Should have hands on experience in AutoCAD and in designing the Fiber and copper network.

Should have knowledge on telecom infrastructure such as Point to Point, Point to multipoint and FTTx networks etc.

Responsible to perform quality checks and prepare deliverables.

Responsible to meet project KPIs and monthly targets.

Mentor and guide new teams to achieve daily/monthly targets.

Knowledge on ISO standards would be an advantage.
