Solar Electrical Design engineer

Position Title: Electrical Design Manager - Solar

Job Objectives:

• Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, engineers, architects, and construction teams to understand project requirements, timelines, and constraints.

• Lead the design process for electrical systems, including solar arrays, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and distribution systems. Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards.

• Apply your expertise in electrical engineering principles, solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, and renewable energy systems to develop efficient and cost-effective designs.

• Develop testing procedures and protocols to verify the performance and reliability of electrical systems. Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.

• Maintain detailed documentation of design plans, technical specifications, and project progress. Prepare reports for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

• Collaborate with procurement teams to source electrical equipment and materials. Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee supplier relationship
