Job Responsibilities :
1. Factual and legal assessment of maritime claims directed against the company as per the defined SLG & SOP.
2. Good command over English and good communications both verbal and writing
3.Good Knowledge on Maritime Law/ Shipping Conventions and COGSA are preferable
4. Good negotiation and recovery skill
5. Good knowledge on Maritime Law and related laws for organisation activities and keep abreast of any changes / updates
6. Should have knowledge on Shipping documents like Bill of Lading,Bill of Entry, Load List, Booking Confirmation etc
7.Should have knowledge in cargo claims and loss mitigation
8.Drafting liability notices
9.Keeping track of files and do monthly audit
10. Assisting in process formulation
11.Reporting for Statistics – weekly/monthly/quarterly
12.Preparation of the claims review report
13.Appointment of Marine cargo Surveyors where needed, to establish the cause of cargo damage.
14. Giving training on Domain and Process to team;
