Our client, a leading MNC in the Energy space in Mumbai is looking to hire a legal professional with 4-6 years of experience in EPC contracts, corporate advisory, commercial agreements, compliance and litigation management.
Responsibilities
Provide practical legal and compliance support across various business domains
Review, negotiate, and advise on a range of contracts, including supply and EPC agreements
Offer legal guidance to project execution teams throughout project lifecycles
Manage claims and disputes, collaborating with external legal counsel when required
Oversee compliance and governance matters within the business
Conduct training sessions for staff on pertinent legal and compliance issues
Contribute actively to the development and implementation of policies, processes, and contract templates
Mentor colleagues on legal matters and best practices
Qualification
Law Degree from a recognized University in India. Law studies or a Master's degree from abroad are seen as a plus.
Possess a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in either an in-house or private practice setting within an international context.
Demonstrate a track record of handling corporate and commercial transactions on a global scale, preferably within the energy or construction sectors.
Prior exposure to high-value equipment supply contracts and EPC agreements is viewed favorably.
Experience in project development enhances candidacy.
Exhibit strong English language proficiency, both in written and verbal communication.
