The director of operations will work closely with executives to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company.

Job Description:

VP/AVP with an experience of 14 to 15 years of experience in managing, leading, and promoting quality throughout the project teams, implementing and leveraging the Quality processes & system at all levels of the business. Evaluates strategies, processes, and procedures to enhance the software functional testing for a product. Promotes a Quality culture, supports initiatives that drive ongoing process improvement, facilitating changes to the quality strategy in the business process. Will interact with the internal & external QA teams to enhance the quality assurance of the product. Analyses data, identifies trends, and uses statistics ensuring the processes meet the company's business and customer needs. Promotes understanding of the processes required for the fulfillment of customer satisfaction. Hands-on all QA activities including test automation, software functional testing, quality architecture, and test planning.

Must-Have:

10+ years of experience as a test architect/manager for large complex enterprise-level, business-critical applications using iterative, Agile, TDD, and BDD methodologies

9 years of experience in one or more of current industry-wide quality and test processes, tools, and technologies such as Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Mocha, Jasmine, JUnit, NUnit, JMeter, AppScan, etc.

6 years of experience developing and implementing test automation frameworks

Risk Management, Quality assurance.

Should have experience in managing a team of 50+ members.

Agile scrum working with Automation and Manual Testing.

Test framework development.

Experience in Pre-sales activities

Capability to drive Learning and Development sessions to nurture and develop team skills.

Nice to have:

Oversee all aspects of the functional testing in the project, including Project Management standards, task management, risk management, and quality assurance;

Work with Offerings Management to create detailed requirements and manage scope;

Escalate Issues and Risks as appropriate;

Maintain overall control of the Project Schedule;

Track the Deliverable. Confirm Delivery and sign off on all expected deliverables;

Prepare the management deliverables (e.g., Engagement Process Guide, Project Schedule, management reviews, requests for changes, and outstanding issues) and seek approval when necessary;

Notify the Development Manager of discrepancies in planning, and submit recommendations to resolve these issues;

Act on issues of non-compliance in quality;

Maintain ongoing contact with Offerings Management;

Keep the lines of communication open among all project participants;

Track any decisions made regarding requests for changes and outstanding issues.

Confirm the transfer of knowledge as necessary throughout the project.

Drive quality across all disciplines by guiding to improve quality practices across development and engineering teams

Define the test automation strategy in collaboration with technical leadership and QA management

Design, develop, and enhance scalable test automation frameworks to execute the automation strategy for all levels of test automation (unit, system, regression, API, UI/UX, performance, penetration, accessibility)

Responsible for the selection and adoption of new test tools by making necessary technical evaluations

Produce metrics and reports to quantify and showcase automation coverage, defect rates, ROI, etc.

Champions an Agile methodology and guides teams in most effectively approaching and structuring testing within sprints/release trains.
