Opportunity

The candidate will work dedicatedly with an investment bank and will be responsible for end-to-end management of the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) analysis, including market updates, newsletters, precedent equity transaction analysis, investor profiles, valuation, benchmarking, investor-targeting analysis and deal commentary. The candidate will be in direct interaction with client and responsible for final delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

Supporting our clients on preparing pitch books, company focused discussion documents, studying & analysing various type of precedent equity offerings

Managing delivery & execution of projects on ECM side, including capital market updates, newsletters, shareholder / ownership analysis, IPO comps / analysis, new equity issuance analysis, Capital structure analysis, Investor analysis and profiles, ECM transaction case studies, company profiles, industry research, league tables etc

Manage project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure “high client satisfaction”

Conducting analysis and performing quality control check of the outgoing reports/packs

Demonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment

Required Background

MBA / CFA/ CA

Relevant experience of 2 to 6 years in Investment Banking preferably Equity Capital market (ECM) team of a bank, boutique firm, KPO, consultancy, or advisory firm

Should have fair knowledge about capital markets, equity offerings, equity-linked offerings like convertible bond market

Strong statistical and analytical skills to assess the economic performance/analysis of companies and industries for clients

The candidate should have the ability to work independently

Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Working knowledge of databases such as Dealogic, Factset, Bloomberg, MergerMarket, CapitalIQ, Thomson Research, etc.

MS Office skills – should be good in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
