AR/AP Accountant

DIRECT REPORTING: Sr. Manager Shared Service Center EMEA

POSITION SUMMARY

The A/R & A/P accountant is primarily responsible to support the Finance Shared Service Center team located in Thane with a variety of A/R & A/P, reporting, process improvement and other tasks as assigned carefully, timely, and with high level of accuracy, at any time in full compliance with Circor policy and received other guidance.

The A/R & A/P accountant cooperates his activities very closely with the Team Lead and the other team members located in India and moreover organizes proper backup scenarios during absences to ensure a high level of service at any time.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

Invoice verification in electronic scanning and documentation software Readsoft for multiple Fin SSC entities like Radolfzell, Bottrop, IMO AB, Norway, PD Technik, Italy

Support Interco reconciliation by sending out Intercompany reconciliations and clarifying differences

Support AR collection by following -up proactively with customers on invoices which become due in next days.

Support AR aging reporting

Support with day-to-day admin work like customer clearance, mailbox responses, verification of customer master data

Support process optimizations regarding cash collection and invoice processing

Proficient in handling high volume invoice processing (AP)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

At least 5+ years of relevant experience in the fields of AR and/or AP

Mandatory SAP FI knowledge

English fluent

Delivers highly accurate accounting work with convincing level of efficiency

Understands important of due dates very well and prioritize work accordingly

Experience in handling process improvement

Self-organized, persistent, reliable and self-motivated individual

Proficiency with MS tools especially Excel
