Role - Director NPI IC Program Management

Stream - Customer Focused Product Development for Mobility, Industrial, Energy & Telecom

Reporting To - Chief Development Officer / Global Head of Engineering

Location -Bengaluru

Program Management at LTSCT is recognized as a core function, enabling the company to excel in product development execution and delivery. This role will be responsible for overseeing our portfolio of new IC, product development starting at project concept continuing through, definition, IC design, validation, customer sampling, characterization, qualifications, initial product launch and closing the project when released to full production.

Program management engages at concept and definition phases to help determine effort, resource needs and schedule to ensure the execution plan supports the business requirements and timing. Once a project is approved, program management drives the entire program execution. At LTSCT that requires managing a very diverse global support infrastructure and numerous sub-project components that must be planned, monitored and integrated at different points of maturity into the final platform solution.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

People

Manage the team of IC/HW technical program managers

Establish team vision, mission, and objectives in line with overall PMO and company vision

Set direction, guide, and mentor project management team in realization of the vision while promoting continuous learning and growth within the team

Mentor and develop program management talent, building a high-performing team capable of delivering strategic outcomes.

Foster strong working relationships with all organizations outside the PMO - collaborate and influence R&D, Product Management, Business teams in progressing the Product Portfolio.

Product Development Execution

Provide overall program management leadership for new products from concept to production and market release

Collaborate with leaders and individual contributors across the spectrum of functional teams such as IC Design, HW design, Test Managers, SW development, Applications, validation, Operations and Product Management to create, manage and execute schedules

Develop and execute program management strategies and initiatives that support organizational objectives and drive towards PMO and LTSCT goals.

Process / Tools

Drive continuous process improvement across cross-functional teams to enable efficient execution and ensure visibility into what we are doing and why we are doing it.

Improve, enhance, and expand the program planning framework from concept through production and market release.

Work to enhance tools, processes, and framework on our HW prioritization, planning, and delivery execution models.

Enhance and augment existing tools, metrics, and decision data to drive decision making and KPIs for all deliverables.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION

Qualification: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field

Program and project management qualifications and expertise

Advanced degree in engineering or MBA and certifications in project management considered a plus

Experience: Minimum of 15 years overall Engineering or Manufacturing experience. Preferably in a high-volume semiconductor environment.

Minimum of 8 years’ experience managing and leading projects and programs in a manufacturing environment.

TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS

This role offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement in project management at LTSCT while working on high-impact products that directly contribute to the LTSCT success.

Guide the project management team, foster a culture of learning and growth, and collaborate with various stakeholders across the company.

This role requires excellent communication and relationship building while partnering with stakeholders such as R&D, Product Management, Business teams, and the executive team.

Working knowledge of, or experience with, SoC IC design, HW/SW development tools, modules and their interactions/enablement of the platform system solution
