Motion Graphic Designer

The Role

Volante seeks a Senior Graphic and Video Designer to create and maintain a premium brand look-and-feel, in print and digital media, including video and motion graphics, that is consistent with our leadership position and brand. If you want to be known as the design mind behind the design of the dominant brand in payments, and have the experience and ability to deliver it, this role is for you.

Location and Reporting Line

The candidate can be based in one of the following Volante office locations: India, in either Pune, Chennai or Hyderabad;

Key Result Areas and Accountabilities

Develop and maintain design assets, including images, social media assets, PowerPoint presentations, videos, web pages

Develop and maintain corporate brand guidelines and “look-book”

Manage graphic design asset repositories so that all assets are up to date and accessible by the right Volante stakeholders and departments

Support the design requirements of Volante departments such as People / HR, in addition to marketing, to ensure consistency of brand presentment across internal and external communications

Work with Volante agency partners to ensure quality of internally and externally produced graphic content

Ideal core qualifications, experience, attributes and skills

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline

~10 years experience as a graphic designer, ideally in technology companies

Track record of obtaining continuing education credentials, above and beyond initial schooling, to stay current with the latest design trends

Expert knowledge of current design and video editing/authoring software

Understanding of every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable, for both graphic digital/print design and video/motion assets

Ability to take direction from written, spoken or roughly sketched ideas and quickly convert them into compelling, high-quality artifacts

Strong understanding and proven experience with a variety of graphic design formats and approaches, from web pages to presentations and brochures in a mix of digital and print formats

Knowledge of video and animation toolsets for the creation of animated graphics a strong plus, as well as facility working with stock motion footage and photography

Agency experience, either having worked in an agency environment or having collaborated with agency partners, a strong plus

Self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas

Attention to detail
