Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Project Closeout: Support the Construction Group in all activities necessary for the closeout of construction projects, including final inspections, partial delivery, punch lists, and documentation.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work completed meets project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Includes extended start up to demonstrate mid and long term equipment or treatment process performance.

Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the post-construction phase, addressing any concerns or issues that arise and providing regular updates on project progress. Assist in planned shutdown coordination between Contractor and Owner.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project documentation. Prepare system O&M manuals, ensure equipment manuals are delivered and submitted to the Owner. Request and approve pre-start up, commissioning and start up plans submitted by the Contractor. Prepare detailed new equipment listing for the Owner

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may arise during the post-construction phase, taking proactive measures to address them.

Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders involved in the post-construction phase.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and environmental requirements governing water and wastewater projects.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in post-construction project management.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree

More than 10 years of experience in Management & more than 5 years of experience in Operations and Maintenance related to Water Projects.

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft .

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project, etc.)

Extensive knowledge on PRASA's processes

Experience with water and wastewater projects
