Job Description
The Mixer Operator has direct responsibility for control and proper operation of the blending process with their control for Lines #1, 2, and 3. This includes raw material identification, mixing panel setup, order of addition as per mixing cards, also verifying the correct weights are being charged into the blender. This position also assists with mixer rest periods, cleanups, and short weights.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two years’ experience in manufacturing preferred. Having compound experience, a plus.
Ability to follow instructions with aptitude in working with mathematical numbers.
Ability to work independently and make decisions on all in-process quality inspections of product
Must be detailed oriented and organized
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications
Ability to understand mechanics of machinery and use of scales
Excellent critical thinking skills
Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the plant.
Must be able to promote and encourage teamwork.
