About School of Community and Health Studies – Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program The School of Community and Health Studies (SCHS) specializes in education that helps people and communities.

Nestled in the Rouge Valley Conservation area, our Morningside Campus serves as the headquarters for our innovative health and community-focused programs.

These programs are taught in state-of-the-art laboratories, where students receive hands-on experience in simulated environments, and learn to inspire and change lives.

Centennial College's collaborative nursing degree program is offered in partnership with Toronto Metropolitan University and George Brown College and provides diverse clinical placements, simulation, group study, and interactive teaching strategies leading to a BScN degree.

The department also offers bridging to university nursing and post-diploma programs.

Position Summary Reporting to the Associate Dean of Nursing, the Professor will deliver high-quality academic, clinical, and research-related course curriculum to a diverse student population, successfully preparing them to make a difference in the future of healthcare.

The Collaborative BScN nursing degree program is a collaborative partnership with two reputable post-secondary institutions – Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) and George Brown College.

The successful candidate will deliver current and evidence-based course content using Universal Design Principles (UDL) in classroom and laboratory settings to ensure that our students experience the best learning outcomes.

The professor will actively participate in program and course development and modifications, program advisory committees, program planning and accreditation, applied research and scholarship initiatives, community outreach, and contribute to ongoing future program needs.
