Key Responsibilities

Write, modify, and debug Mainframe Assembler programs based on specific requirements

Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams to understand project requirements

Perform unit testing and debugging of Mainframe programs to ensure they meet functional requirements

Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues in Mainframe applications

Update and maintain existing Mainframe applications

Document code, program logic, and procedures for future reference

Optimize Mainframe program performance and resolve any inefficiencies

Provide technical support and guidance to other team members

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Mainframe technology

Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality Mainframe solutions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Proven experience in Mainframe Assembler programming

In-depth knowledge of Mainframe architecture and operating systems
